Welcome to the Radiant Report
We’re excited to introduce the Radiant Report, a new weekly blog from the Education Department at the Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center. This space was created with one mission in mind: to keep our community informed, connected, and empowered.
Each week, we’ll share updates on recent laws, community news, research, tools, and resources that matter to survivors, advocates, and anyone working to end sexual violence. Whether you're a professional in the field, a community ally, or someone personally impacted by this work, we hope the Radiant Report becomes a trusted resource for you.
Why Radiant?
We chose the name Radiant Report as a reflection of our identity and purpose. The sun featured in the DARCC logo has long symbolized hope, warmth, and a new day. These values are the guide to everything we do.
Just as the sun rises each morning, Radiant Report exists to shine light on the issues that impact survivors and the broader community. With each post, our goal is to bring clarity, connection, and care. Radiance, to us, is more than brightness; it’s the steady commitment to illuminating truth, amplifying survivor voices, and guiding our community forward with knowledge, strength, and shared commitment to justice.
What to Expect
You can count on new blog posts every Friday, covering topics such as:
Recent laws and policy updates at the state and national level
Tools and resources for survivors and advocates
Community spotlights and stories of resilience
News and research related to sexual violence prevention and response
On the last Friday of each month, we’ll send out a recap email featuring all the posts from that month, so it’s perfect for catching up or sharing with others.
