Advisory Council

For over a decade, Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center (DARCC) has been a leader in the movement to end sexual violence and support those in the community impacted by these crimes, providing services with compassion, excellence, and a commitment to survivor-centered care.

DARCC is dedicated to implementing best practices, meeting the needs of the community, and deepening its understanding of those needs by listening to the individuals and families it serves.

The role of DARCC’s Advisory Council is to provide feedback on programs and initiatives, identify opportunities to advance the organization's mission, and help build stronger relationships with the communities it serves.

DARCC exists to engage and educate communities to prevent sexual violence and support survivors and their loved ones as they heal and thrive. The organization envisions a world free from sexual violence and believes that a diverse group of advisors with varying perspectives, backgrounds, and expertise helps inform stronger decisions and increase DARCC’s impact.

DARCC seeks to bring together a talented and diverse group of individuals who support its mission and share its vision of a world free from sexual violence. The organization does not believe that sexual assault and abuse are foregone conclusions. Through education, advocacy, prevention, and survivor support, DARCC is working to create meaningful change in the communities it serves.

Nominations are reviewed on a rolling basis. Individuals interested in serving on the Advisory Council are encouraged to submit a nomination form today.
