Students Know Their Campus Best

Allies to Advocates is a student-led prevention and advocacy program supported by the Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center. A2A exists because meaningful change on college campuses happens when students lead efforts rooted in their own school culture.

Students understand the language, norms, and realities of campus life. Allies to Advocates was created to center student voices while providing the training, guidance, and trauma-informed framework needed to create lasting impact.

Mission

Allies to Advocates empowers college students to lead sexual violence prevention and survivor-centered advocacy within their own campus communities. Students know their school culture best, and A2A supports their work with training, tools, and guidance from the Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center so their impact is authentic, relevant, and sustainable.

Vision

We envision campuses across North Texas and beyond where students shape a culture of consent, safety, and support. Allies to Advocates aims to grow a national network of student leaders who strengthen prevention efforts and help ensure survivors are met with belief, dignity, and access to resources.
