Understanding Sexual Assault Seminar: Investigation, Prosecution, and Advocacy

The Dallas Police Department and the Dallas District Attorney’s Office, in partnership with the Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center, invite community members and professionals to attend an Understanding Sexual Assault Seminar.
This session will explore how sexual violence cases move through the criminal justice system, including the initial response by patrol officers, the roles of detectives and prosecutors, and the distinctions between misdemeanors and felonies. Participants will also learn how DARCC advocates support survivors throughout the process.
Join us Tuesday, April 21 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center.
