Off Campus - Episode 3: Is Giving Green Flags: Feeling Safe Is the Standard

Episode 3 turns up the heat, but the biggest green flags show up in the quieter moments. Garrett supports Hannah’s music and reminds her that she is the real catch. Later, when Hannah is intoxicated, he recognizes that she cannot consent and focuses on making sure she is safe. He does not treat basic respect like something he deserves praise for. He simply does the right thing, and that should always be the standard.

“The episode also shows what can happen when people avoid being honest about how they feel. Attraction might get the most screen time, but emotional safety is built in the everyday moments. The people closest to you should make you feel supported and secure, not like you need to shrink yourself to keep their attention. ”

This week’s A2A Watch Guide unpacks the relationship dynamics in Episode 3, “Feeling Safe,” and explores what emotional safety actually looks like. What was the biggest green flag in this episode? DM us on Instagram @allies2advocates and tell us your take!
