Episode 6 shows Hannah and Garrett taking a big step by letting each other in and being honest about what they are carrying. Then Hannah unexpectedly sees the person who assaulted her, reminding us that healing can feel messy even when you have come a long way. A trauma trigger does not erase your progress or mean you are back at the beginning.
“Being vulnerable does not mean telling everyone everything. Access to your story is earned. The right people will make space for the real version of you, not just the version that always says, “I’m fine.” Opening up can be scary, but future you may be grateful that you stopped carrying everything alone. ”
